Hebrew School News

Our Hebrew School Brunch was a wonderful success. Thank you for the inspirational words from our Rabbi Wohlberg and our Principal, Jack Rubel. We were all introduced to all of our wonderful teachers. Thank you all who participated.

School is off to a great start. Students and teachers have all met. Rabbi Wohlberg spoke to the students about Rosh Hashana and the upcoming Yom Kippur. The children enjoyed hearing him speak about Israel and about what a great country we live in. And how lucky we are to be living in a country where we are free to practice our religion. Today students were introduced to the brand new library. All the students were very excited about our new computers and the projects they will be able to do with them.

Upcoming programs include:

1. An opportunity to make a Lulov and Etrog. Sunday Sept 26 during class time.
2. The Sukkah Happening. Monday October 4 at 5:15. Hebrew School students and Day School students are invited. Pizza and Soda will be served in the Sukkah.
3. The J.E.P. program begins after Sukkot. Wednesday evenings 6:15-7:15. All Hebrew School age children are welcome to come for enrichment.
4. Shabbat Youth Program Junior Congregation.
