Shabbat Celebration Kit

In order to enhance the celebration of Shabbat in each students household, we are distributing a Shabbat Kit to each grade. EAch student in the class will have the opportunity to use the kit for one Shabbat.

Included in the kit is:
Kiddush cup
Challah cover
Candlesticks - Two Shabbat candles and aluminum Holders
Blessings Sheet
Kipah
Woman's Head Covering
Havdalah Candle
Sprice Box and spices
Shabbat Blessings
Marble notebook - Diary

Each student is asked to record their experience with shabbat in the notebook. Please do not record your experience of Shabbat on Shabbat. Please wait until after havdalah when shabbat is complete.

Students can keep the following items:
Kiddush cup
kipah
woman's head covering

We request that each family provide two challahs for their shabbat meal and make sure that their child completes the diary page - after shabbat.
