Sukkot Workshop
Although the Sukkot workshop started late and ended in chaos, the children had a wonderful learning experience during the event. The Entire Hebrew School gathered in the "great room" for the event. The students participated in a contest in which they had to guess if the fruit they were holding was an etrog, lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, or tangerine. In addition, they watched a slide show about the holiday and were taught about sukkot traditions.
In the last five minutes of the program the students were taught how to properly put together the lulov and etrog. The chaos ensued during distribution of materials at this time. At the end of the day, it was a fabulous program and a great learning experience for our children (and the parents).
