Our Hebrew School is a place where students from a variety of home environments and backgrounds (members & non members) can learn about Jewish traditions, holidays, Israel, prayer and the Hebrew Language. Dates to Remember

March
26. Sunday. Matzah Factory Trip. Please make sure to bring in permission slip and $11.00 fee. Buses will take the children to the Matzah Factory.

April
2. Sunday. Gadna. Lean about life in the Israel Defense Force (IDF). Children will "train" for the IDF with real drills! Ages 4-7 9:15-10:15 am. Ages 8-14 10:15-11:15 am. (Yes, there is still Hebrew School while the children before or after the children participate in this program). $5.00 fee.
8. Shabbat. Hebrew School Shabbat. Please join us in shul shabbat morning. Each child will be participating in the service shabbat morning in the main sanctuary. Students are expected to arrive by 9:30 AM.
9. Sunday The Sunday only students will have their model Seder at 9:15 AM. Parents are invited to join in and kvell at their children's knowledge of the Seder!
9. Sunday Kitah Aleph through Kitah Hay will have the charoset bowl beginning at 10:00 AM. Parents are invited to watch the children compete. Which class will win?
12 Wednesday. First Seder night. No Hebrew School April 12-23.
24 Monday. Classes Resume

May
16. Tuesday
5 PM - 7 PM Wantagh Park at the Fire Ring. A Fabulous Bonfire of Jewish camaraderie for boys and girls of Hebrew School age, and families and friends. Fun, Games, Storytelling of Jewish Heroes, and a Jewish Song Fest. Presented by The Jewish Committee on Scouting, Theodore Roosevelt Council, BSA. Fun, Games, Storytelling of Jewish Heroes, Jewish Song Fest and more. Bring your own picnic supper, Blankets and Chairs.
