Our Hebrew School is a place where students from a variety of home environments and backgrounds (members & non members) can learn about Jewish traditions, holidays, Israel, prayer and the Hebrew Language. Ohav Sholom Hanukkah Celebrations

Who: Parents and children ages 3-6. ALL member of the Merrick-Bellmore community. Bring your friends and playmates!
When: Monday December 19 5PM -6 PM
What: Chanukkah Pizza Party
Musical sing a long, story time with Rabbi Wohlberg, candle lighting, and dreidel games.

What: Shabbat service Chanukkah Luncheon
The Rabbi Jeremiah Wohlberg Institute will welcome four young Israelis who recently completed army duty and are now touring the area as representatives of the State of Israel.
Cost: $12 per adult, $7 per child (ages 6-12), $4 per toddler under the age of 6 (infants are free), $50 maximum per immediate family

Chanukkah Toy Drive
Bring new, unwrapped toys and gifts for foster child or adult with disabilities at OHEL Children's Home and Family Services/Bais Ezra/Lifetime Care Foundation, to the Ohav office before December 16. (Gifts for Teenagers are especially needed). Suggestions: toys, board games, video games, sports equipment, sweaters. Cash donations will gladly be accepted.
